چکیده
In this paper. we propose a baseband OFDM receiver for highspeed wireless local area network defined in IEEE 802.1 la physical layer. Algorithms for channel estimation/equalization. timing recovery, carrier frequency acquisition/tracking, and sampling clock tracking are individually designed and later integrated into a receiver architecture. Simulation results show that the proposed OFDM receiver architecture is capable of high-rate data transmission in indoor multi-path fading channels.

An Efficient Scheme for PAPR Reduction of OFDM based on Selected Mapping without Side Information
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has become a promising method for many wireless communication applications. However, one main drawback of OFDM systems is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Selected mapping (SLM) is a well-known technique to decrease the problem of high PAPR in OFDM systems. In this method, transmitter is obliged to send some bits named side informati...

The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a parallel transmission scheme. It has attained the high data rate by splitting the data stream into a number of lowrate sub-carriers (SC) instead of utilizing one carrier at a high rate. OFDM have been around 1960s.This technique is mainly used in digital audio/video broadcast (DAB/DVB), wireless LAN (802.11a and HiperLAN2) and broadband...
متن کاملA Low-Power Adaptive MIMO Detector for MIMO-OFDM WLAN Systems
A MIMO-OFDM receiver requests high-speed MIMO detection to separate spatially multiplexed signals on real-time processing, which causes large power dissipation due to its high throughput performance. We present an adaptive MIMO detector which adaptively changes the computational speed of MIMO detection by estimating Doppler shifts correlated with fading channel variations. The adaptive detector...
